Guinness Chocolate Cake - Whole

A tall, gorgeous Guinness & Valrhona cocoa cake with a beautiful texture - toothsome in the way nicely dense cakes are, and *moist* enough that it keeps for days without drying out. 

We gild the lily with a silky brown sugar coffee buttercream and cocoa powder. Not too much to overpower; just enough so cake and frosting complement each other.

This cake holds at room temperature when it's not excruciatingly hot (i.e feels like 36°C), and is all the better for it. The buttercream tempers to the right temperature, so your fork glides through and it melts in your mouth.
* Must be eaten only when the buttercream is completely tempered.

A 6" cake feeds 6 - 8 pax, while a 9" cake feeds 10 - 14 pax.
